Dzioba, Rubio Shackle GV Giants

Pitching was the name of the game last Saturday for the Bear River A's major division Little League team.

Receiving a pair of yeoman like mound efforts from radley Dzioba and Mikey Rubio, the A's outbattled the Grass Valley Giants to eke out a thrilling 1-0 win.

Dzioba worked the first three and a third frames for the A's and allowed just one hit while fannine nine batters and walking three.

Rubio, meanwhile, was just as effective as he came on in relief and pitched the final two and two-third innings racking up eight more whiffs and giving up just one hit.

The A's used Harry Zea's RBI hit as their lone run scoring rap. Tanner Clapper added a double while Jaden Gravatt, David Ferrell and Rubio all singled.
