May 27, 2009 Dodgers Rally Past A's For 14-7 Win The Affordable Real Estate Loans Dodgers slugged their way back from a 4 run deficit in the first inning to post a 14-7 victory over the Higgins/Cal Fire A's. The A's came out swinging in the top of the first inning scoring 4 runs. Sean Mikan, Drew Cramer and Hunter Cramer provided the big hits for the A's. The Dodgers then crept back before taking control in the fourth inning posting a 10-4 lead. The bottom of the fifth saw the Dodgers push it out to 14-4 before a 3 run sixth by the A's cut into the lead. Dodgers pitcher Ryan Wagner settled in and held the A's scoreless from the second through fourth innings before David O'Brien pitched a scoreless fifth to allow for the Dodger comeback. The 6th inning saw Jared Skowronski make his Dodgers pitching debut to preserve the win The Dodgers were led at the plate by Skowronski who went 2 for 2 with a home run and a triple, 3 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Justus Stratton and Shane Anderson were 2 for 2, Wyatt Mitzel was 2 for 3 and Dallas Penn was 1 for 1 and scored 3 runs. The A's were led by Hunter Cramer who went 3 for 3 with a double and 2 runs scored.
