Bearcat Flag Football Trips Bombers, 7-0

A Trevor Lund to Jake Berger touchdown pass proved to be the only score the Union Hill Bearcats flag football team needed in a 7-0 win over the Lyman Gilmore Bombers Thursday afternoon.

The tight Nevada County Athletic League contest was a defensive struggle the whole way before Lund and Berger hooked up on their scoring pass. Berger made a nice adjustment to come back on the slightly under thrown ball and take it to the end zone.

On defense, Lund also had a key late game interception to thwart a Bombers scoring chance and Melody Collier and Walker Price both had several big stops.
