Big Bats Spark Bear River A's To Win

The Bear River A's came out swinging Monday night and never looked back in rolling to a 10-4 District 11 major division Little League win over the Penn Valley Mets.

Ten of the twelve players on the A's roster got into the hitting act in the win.

Leading the way were Jaden Gravatt who was 2x2 with a double, Trace Anderson (2x3), Justin Dooley with a two-run triple and Mikey Rubio (2x3).

Also swinging heavy lumber for the winners were Austin Tague with a hit and two runs driven in, Harry Zea (1x3) and Ben Spin with a hit and a RBI.

Rubio was the winning hurler with 5 2-3 innings of work. He spaced out five hits, fanned 14 and did not walk a batter.
