It’s a switch: Jr. Falcons

Will open at home Saturday

In a late change to the Colfax Jr. Falcons youth football schedule, the Colfax gridders will open their 2007 season at Marson  Stadium in Colfax this Saturday Sept. 8.

The Jr. Falcons, who are members of the Sacramento Youth Football League, will host Rio Linda in four games starting at 10 a.m. and running

throughout the day.

Colfax had originally been slated to open the season at Rio Linda but there was a conflict with the Jr. Knights field.

The Jr. Falcons will now play five of their seven regularly scheduled season games on their home field.

Saturday’s game times are as follws: 10:a.m. Jr. Peewees; 12 noon Jr. Midgets; 2 p.m. Midgets; 5 p.m. Peewees.

Admission charge to the games are $3.
