BR Dodgers Break Loose In 13-3 Win

The Affordable Real Estate Loans Dodgers from Bear River knocked off the Grass Valley Angels 13-3 in Little League Major Division action Tuesday night at Bear River field.

The Dodgers broke open a 2-2 tie with a seven run second inning.

Ryan Wagner and David O'Brien combined to throw a one hitter to lead the winners from the mound.

Wagner pitched 3 1/3 innings of no-hit ball before giving way to O'Brien for the final 1 2/3 innings where the lone hit was an infield safety by Brock Grininger.

The Dodgers bats were led by Wyatt Mitzel, Kyle Krogman and David O'Brien all going 2 for 3. Krogman's effort included a triple as Caden McGowan and O'Brien each had doubles.

Grass Valley Giants 6 Bear River A’s 1 – Key hitting late in the game helped push the Grass Valley Giants to the majors division win over the Bear River A’s.

Trevor Markum and Kross Carbet both went 2x3 for the Giants while Nick McFall added a big double.

For the A’s Anthony Reiss collected a double while Dayton Anderson, Adien Ginn and Sean Mikan all singled.

Seth Shephard threw well for the Giants as he went five innings and allowed just two hits with four strikeouts. For the A’s, Dayton Anderson was impressive with six whiffs in two frames of work.

enn Valley Dodgers 1 - With the help of two first inning runs, excellent A's pitching held the visiting Dodgersscoreless for five innings. Dodgers pitcher George Olson was also tough on the mound strikingout six in three innings of work.

Dodgers’ Dalton Maxwell scored the lone Penn Valley run afterdoubling in the 5th inning. Logan Kerley added two hits for the Dodgers while Jimmy Fowler and Jesse Donohue each collected one.

 Dalton Maxwell only threw 12 pitches while striking out the side during the A's last at bat. David Mateos also added a great catch in centerfield.
