Magnolia 7th Grade Tops Vikings, 43-32

Magnolia’s 7th grade boys basketball team moved the ball well last week in a 43-32 conquest of Pleasant Valley.

With the Rattlers accounting for 17 total assists has a team in the game, the Magnolia hoopsters pulled away from a 13-6 first quarter advantage to ease past the Vikings.

The win improved Magnolia’s Nevada County Athletic League record to 5-6 with a regular-season ending tilt against Union Hill on the road slated for Tuesday.

Leading Magnolia in the scoring column were Braden Duncan and Brandon Donley with 10 points each. Zack Quirate chipped in with seven more points and also came up with five steals.
