Eagles Sit At 6-3 In NCAL race

A split in a pair of Nevada County Athletic League boys basketball games has left the Mt. St. Mary's Eagles with a 6-3 mark in small schools divisional action.

IIn play last week against Ready Springs, MSM combined a steady offense with a swarming defense to produce a 48-36 win over the Raiders.

Ben Kaupt, Sam Reece, Ben Anderson, Dominic Gallelli and Michael Buonarati all contibuted fine all-around efforts to allow the Eagles to get past the Raiders.

Mt. St. Mary's also played well in a tight game against Crossroads Christian but ended up on the short end of a 35-29 count.

Buonarati fired in 18 points for the Eagles who also received fine efforts from Anderon in the assist department and Hannah Liserra with scoring and rebounding.
