Feb. 10, 2009 Tuesday's NCAL Boys Results 8th Grade Weimar Hills 53 Pleasant Valley 33 - High Scorers: (WH) - Michael Wilson 21, Jack Baldoni 9, Chris Harshman 6; (PV) - Brandon Fouse 10, John Jones 8. Notes: Weimar Hills improves to 9-1 in NCAL games. Warriors led 21-9 after first quarter and 34-15 at halftime. PV now 5-5 in league play. Union Hill 41 Seven Hills 35 - High Scorers: (UH) - Jake Berger 16, Mike Tapia 13. Notes: Union Hill stays one game back of Weimar Hills in standings at 8-2. Nathan Selleck had pair of key late buckets for winners while Kyle McCombs, Beau Depois and Parker Rhodes all rebounded strongly. Seven Hills fell back into third place with a mark of 6-4. 7th Grade Weimar Hills 41 Pleasant Valley 15 - High Scorers: (WH) - Jake Breeler 9, Pat Beninga 8, Mason Lewis 6, Alex Tobiasz 6. Notes: Weimar Hills cinches tie for regular season NCAL crown. Weimar Hills is now 9-1 in league games and 21-2 overall. Seven Hills 47 Union Hill 39 - High Scorers: (SH) - Trevor Humphrey 16, Jordan Jiannino 12, Matt Demele 7, Stephen Skaggs 6. (UH) - Christian Straub 26, Chase Loper 7. Notes: Seven Hills won 7th straight game by overcoming late Union Hill lead. Seven Hills now 7-3 in NCAL play while Union Hill is 3-7.
