PV Dodgers Rally Past BR Cards

The Penn Valley Little League Dodgers are starting to make it a habit of coming from behind to notch District 11 major division baseball wins this season.

Tuesday night at Western Gateway Park, the Dodgers did it again as the Penn Valley squad rallied past the Bear River Cardinals for a 5-4 walk-off victory, third third such of the season.

Steve "Flash" McClenthen's three clutch RBI's and three shutout innings on the mound from Dalton Maxwell set the stage for the Dodgers dramatic win.

In the win, the Dodgers went up 2-0 in the 1st on a double by Maxwell, a walk and a single by McClenthen.

The Cardinals rallied with four straight hits in the 3rd inning to take a 4-2 leadbut the.Dodgers were able to tie the game in 4th with an RBI by Maxwell and hits by Joseph Ten Eyck, Ben Gemetti and McClenthen.

The winning RBI came from Justin Glidden who drove in Orion Clark with the winning run in the Dodgers haft of the 6th inning for the walk-off win.
