March 4, 2009 Plenty Of Talent On 7th Grade All-NCAL Team If there’s one standout highlight about the 2009 all-foothillpreps.com’s Nevada County Athletic League’s 7th grade team, it’s that there isn’t a shortage of offensive-minded players. The 7th grade all-star squad, which was selected by a vote of the league’s coaches, is anchored by players that were the offensive standouts for their respective teams. Leading the way from regular season champion Weimar Hills is standout guard Jordan Balser and center Jack Baldoni. Joining the Warriors duo from Union Hill was the Bearcats’ talented one-two punch of Logan gardner and Jake Berger. Forest Lake Christian, meanwhile, landed prolific outside scorer Chase Augustino and forward Luke Jordon. Also selected to the 10-player first squad were Evan Kittle and Garrett O’Callaghan from Seven Hills, Braden Duncan of Magnolia and Nolan Stefani of Pleasant Valley. The coach of the year award for 7th grade went to Ryan Ellis of Union Hill who joins his brother Brian who was named as the NCAL’s 8th grade coach of the year earlier this week. foothillpreps.com all-NCAL 7th Grade Boys Basketball
