SFLL Jr. Reds Notch Win

The Reds bested the Rangers, 7-1, in a Sierra Foothills Little League junior division game played Monday at Winchester Park.

Jacob Yarborough and Robby Lopez led the Reds on offense with a double and triple respectively.

On the mound, Wes Woodward pitched two scoreless innings while Baily Bean hurled two frames and gave up just one run.  Jonathan Walker had a good defensive game in center field for the winners.

For the Rangers.  Tommy Tye had a single and RBI and also pitched well.  Jake Buol had the team’s other hit, a single.

Also playing well for the Rangers were Clark Pietromonaco who pitched two scoreless innings andplayed great all around defense and Kyle Smith who pitched two strong innings and also played stellar defense at first.
