Gold Mine Wrestling Club Taking Signups

The Gold Mine Wrestling Club, a wrestling program for youth grapplers in the Nevada County area, will start taking signups and practicing next week.

According to coach Nick Saldivar, the practices will begin on Monday, March 9. Registration fee is $50. This includes a USA wrestling card. The purchase of wrestling equipment is extra.

Practice times for advanced wrestlers are Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Nevada Union High wrestling room.

Intermediate times are Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and beginner’s times are Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. Wrestling room doors open at 5:30.
