Pleasant Valley Athletes Compte at NorCal's

Over 20 middle school track teams  from Nevada, Placer and Sacramento Counties participated in the first ever NORCAL Elite Championships held recently at Nevada Union High School.

The meet was the season finale for area athletes. Pleasant Valley School of Lake Wildwood had several strong competitors with the following results:

* The 8th Grade Girls 4 x100 M Relay team consisting of Cierra Hadley, Maddie Campbell, Nicole Faker and Caroline Bronson, came in 4th Place, just out of medal contention but set a personal best time of .58.80.

* 8th Grade Girls Mile - Kali Arvidson Placed 3rd

* 8th Grade Boys 800 Meter - Kevin Patterson Placed 2nd with a New School Record Time of 2.24.

*6th Grade Girl Brooklyn Nolen had an amazing day and Meet. Placing 1st in 100 Meter, 1st in Long Jump with a jump of 12'6", 2nd in the High Jump and 2nd in the 200 Meters.
