Union Hill Gridders Blank 7-Hills, 20-0

Jake Berger hauled in a long scoring pass from quarterback Trevor Lund and then added another touchdown on a flanker reverse to help power the Union Hill bearcats flag football team to a 20-0 win over Seven Hills last week in NCAL action.

Cori Maves also got into the scoring act for the Bearcats as she rushed over a touchdown from five-yards out.

Leading the defensive charge for the winners was Kimberly Ellis who registered five flag pulls and also picked off a Raiders aerial.

Other standouts in the big Union Hill win were offensive lineperson Melodie Collier, who contributed a sack and a safety on defense, and Steve Martin.
