Lindquist's blast lifts Foresthill Giants over A's

The Bear River A’s dropped a tough District 11 majors division Little League inter-lock game played last week

Leading the Foresthill Giants 5-2 in a tight well-played contest, the A’s surrendered a walk-off grand slam home run to the Giants’ Jacob Lindquist in a 6-5 loss.

The A’s used strong hurling by Nick O’Connor to keep the contest in check. O’Connor pitched a no-hit no-run game for five and two-thirds innings with 11 strikeouts before reaching the mandated pitch count.

Defensive gems were turned in by outfielders Trace Anderson and Anthony Reiss to keep the Giants off the bases.

On offense, Hunter Cramer was 2x3 with a triple and RBI for the A’s while Anderson also added a RBI hit. Both Reiss and Tevor Bisagno also picked up raps.
