Clark was an all-tournament selection for the Rams who advanced to the finals before falling to Weimar Hills, 37-19. obfoto.com Feb. 1, 2010 Warriors Win Own 7th Grade Classic Weimar Hills’ 7th grade boys basketball team used defense as its catalyst last weekend in capturing its own Warrior Classic tournament championship which featured 11-teams battling in two days of action at the Sierra Hills School gym in Meadow Vista. The Warriors, now 18-2 on the season, held all three of its tournament opponents to 20 points or less in sweeping to the championship. In Saturday’s title game, Weimar Hills shot out to a 9-0 advantage over Oak Hill of Lower Lake, built a 20-13 halftime advantage and then pulled away for an eventual 37-19 win. Ray Henry’s 15 points, 12 from Pat Beninga, six from Carrick Hoffart amd two each from Jake Buol and Mason Lewis sparked the Warriors win. Also supplying good all-around tournament efforts for Weimar Hills were Jake Breeler, Ryan Hallman, John Kirwan, Logan Hurst and Alex Tobiasz.
