Weimar Hills 7th graders take pair

Inside scoring punch helped pace the Weimar Hills 7th grade girls basketball team to a 32-20 Nevada County Athletic League win over Seven Hills Thursday afternoon in Nevada City.

Kathy Harrison’s 16 points and 11 by Katy Thomas sparked the Lady Warriors to the triumph. Weimar Hills coach Jill Kirkland also cited the all-around play of Brittany Thomas as vital to the Lady Warriors’ win.

On Tuesday, Weimar Hills posted a 27-14 win over Union Hill with Laurel Robinson and Delany Shinn leading the way.

Weimar Hills will host Forest Lake Christian on Tuesday and Magnolia on Wednesday.
